For Summer 2021, we’re predicting to see a lot of blues with classic wedding colors like ivory, green, purple, and gold. With everyone looking forward to sunshine, warm weather, and more opportunity to spend time outside (and out of the house) choosing colors that bring happiness and joy are more important now than ever.
Whether you’re having a backyard barbeque, a beach elopement, or a small ceremony indoors, we hope these color palettes provide some inspiration as you plan for your big day.
Light Blue
Keep light blues in mind all year long. While dusty blues have been trending for a while, we’re loving how couples like Kaitlyn and Dwight have paired this tone with our Light Blue Suits for a completely monochromatic wedding party. Against a backdrop of lush summer greens, this palette is really classic.

Matcha
If you knew the ladies at team TGS at all, you’d know we love our iced matcha lattes in the summer. So, we think matcha as a wedding color is the perfect summer choice. Light green pairs well with taupe and other neutrals, dusty oranges and pinks, navy, and grays. The color is bright and cheerful. Photo Cred: Brizzy Rose & Emma
White
White isn’t just for winter snow and also doesn’t have to be reserved to the bride. For a more neutral color palette, brides have been dressing their ladies in whites, ivories, and neutral tones paired with white bouquets with minimal greenery. For this look, we recommend the bride wear some sparkle or texture to elevate her look as well as hold a more unique wedding bouquet. For the guys, anything matches with white! Dress the guys in tuxedos for a super formal affair, or go with a summer classic: brilliant blue. We recommend ivory ties that stand out subtly against their white dress shirts. Jewel Tones
In the spring we predicted darker colors like raspberry and papaya vs traditional blush and peach and this trend is continuing on through the summer with jewel ones. For suiting, we recommend going with navy or charcoal with pops of purple and teal in your accessories and flowers.

Yellow
We can’t complete this list without the color of the year! Different shades of yellow will be present all year long from illuminating to marigold. We love how this bride’s bouquet is spiced up with dusty pink, burgundy, and green.
